Gil Elvgren Ink study Colour

This is an exercise I do regularly. I redraw something by an artist I like as a way to see how they solve problems in their work. I generally have a few of these laying around the studio. It's a good way to get warmed up for inking.

I applied a series of ink washes on this as well.
