Paul Says
"This is a scene I originally planned for our 11th Doctor & Brigadier story "Fade Away", which would've gone between what ended up becoming Pages 2 and 3.  It just got too long and involved compared to the other flashbacks though, and would've thrown our little 9 page story off balance.  Still... I liked the idea of it, and it seemed wrong to do a story summing up the Brigadier's & Doctor's relationship with no significant appearance from the 3rd Doctor, Jo, Yates, Benton etc- so as Slade once sang... here it is- Merry Christmas. :) (Smile) "

It's always a pleasure to work with Paul on anything. But I particularly love his take on Doctor Who. Stay tuned. More to come. oh and Happy New Year!

I like it, just crazy enough for the Doctor and lovely to see the Doctor in the 70's with his then-Companion who is, evidently, protecting him from himself. The only question is, given the Doctor is a Time Lord, would the Amnesia last? It's been established that the Doctor never forgets anything, he's simply lived so long it's all a bit mixed up in there. But... He would notice if there was a gap, no?

On the other hand, I'm sure Jo Grant had that in hand. Love the last panel with Jack's smirk, as well...
